Shipyard Superintendent/Field Engineer, doing research and survey, prepare cost estimation of vessel before dry-docking, liaise with Owner’s Representative and Marine Surveyor. Do naval/structural design of a vessel for new construction or conversion repair, hull scantling computations base on Classification Rules, stability, floodable, hydrostatic, freeboard, tonnage, resistance and powering calculation. Make all connection between design department and production department. Study all the drawings in view of preparing detailed production’s schedules, beginning with outfitting, blasting & painting, mounting, launching and delivery. Review together with Owner Superintendent all the remarks that appear during building/repair process and solve them accordingly with the Owner’s requirements. Can perform other duties as designated.
